The Frederick County Dental Society once again had a wonderful meeting with a great turnout last evening at the Holly Hills Country Club. Dr. Arthur Jee and Dr. Louis Depaola delivered an engaging lecture reviewing the Maryland State Dental Board. Current president Dr. Melanie Towe was honored to present a plaque to Dr. Dave Detterline in recognition and appreciation of his outstanding service as the society’s immediate past president.
One very exciting update; FCDS is now recognized by the Academy of General Dentistry as a PACE Program provider. The PACE program is based on 13 rigorous standards for identifying high-quality educational organizations. This was made possible through our Executive Director Kristen Virts’ careful planning and execution.
The next FCDS meeting is scheduled for March 10th, 2020 at the Dutch’s Daughter restaurant. This will be a Maryland State Dental Association visitation meeting and Dr. Grill will be presenting a lecture on temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain. Please save the date!
